 MISSION STATEMENT

 Use artificial matrices and human cells to engineer a  functional human airway for use in pre-clinical  research.  A human airway model will reduce our  reliance on animal testing and  increase the efficiency
  of drug development and chemical testing.

 

NEWS AND EVENTS

May 18, 2013
 American Thoracic Society conference, Philadephia. BRONCH research to develop novel airway wall models has been selected to enter the annual   Canadian Thoracic Society poster competition at the ATS conference. This work will be presented by Dr Sam Wadsworth.

Feb 5-9, 2013
Keystone conference, Taos, New Mexico. Dr Sam Wadsworth will be presenting a poster and a talk regarding recent developments by BRONCH to
develop a novel 3-D model of the airway wall.

May 19-23, 2012
American Thoracic Society Annual Conference, Moscone convention centre, San Francisco.  Min Hyung Ryu has been selected to present his BRONCH research "Development of a tubular nano-fiber scaffold for functional study of human airway smooth muscle cells" in an oral presentation on May 20th at 2pm. Sam Wadsworth will be presenting a BRONCH-related research in a poster on May 23rd and will be available for a "meet the scientist"  session at the STEMCELL Technologies stand in the Exhibit hall on May 21st at 11am
